Why it matters
Not a screenshot and not a spreadsheet — a permanent, publicly verifiable account of what the watch is, its condition as evidenced, and its standing. When you sell, the record transfers with the piece and the next owner inherits everything you built.
Where a ruling on the watch itself is confirmed with the authority that made it, that standing is entered on the record and reads independently authenticated, in gold — attributed to its source. That standing cannot be reached any other way, by design.
