Terms of Service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Boss Tag platform (“Platform”), including the website at bosstag.co, related applications, and all related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. Certain features — including selling on the marketplace and higher-value transactions — require completion of identity (KYC) and, for business accounts, business (KYB) verification. By using these features, you consent to identity-verification procedures carried out by our regulated verification partners.
3. Platform Services
Boss Tag provides: (a) record issuance — a verifiable record for a physical item, consisting of a digital certificate, a public verification page, and an on-chain provenance anchor; (b) Boss Vision, an AI assistant that helps identify and assess items (identification, condition notes, and valuation estimates); (c) a marketplace for listing, buying, and selling items that carry a Boss Tag record; and (d) optional third-party authentication routing to recognized authorities (for example, sanctioned certificate lookups) where available. Boss Tag is a technology platform and does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice.
4. Records & Verification
Boss Vision provides AI-assisted identification and assessment based on the photographs, identifiers, and documentation you submit. An owner-declared, AI-assessed record reflects the submitter's claims and the AI's assessment — it is not an independent authentication and is presented as such. An “independently authenticated” verdict is shown only when it is backed by a genuine third-party source. Assessments and valuation estimates are not guarantees of authenticity, condition, or value, and Boss Tag is not liable for losses arising from reliance on them. You are encouraged to seek independent professional appraisal or authentication for high-value items.
5. On-Chain Provenance Anchor
Each record is anchored to the Polygon blockchain as a provenance record — a tamper-evident reference that lets anyone independently confirm a record exists and has not been altered. The anchor is created and maintained by Boss Tag on your behalf using platform-managed infrastructure; it is not a user-held wallet, token, or crypto-asset, and it does not represent ownership of any security or financial instrument. Anchor data written on-chain is public and immutable and cannot be edited or deleted, which is inherent to blockchain technology.
6. Marketplace & Payments
Marketplace payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). For escrow transactions, the buyer's payment is held by the processor and released to the seller after delivery is confirmed (or the transaction otherwise completes), less applicable platform fees; if a transaction is cancelled or a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor, funds are returned to the buyer. Platform fees vary by plan and are disclosed at checkout and on the Pricing page. Buyer protection is also available through the payment processor's standard dispute and chargeback process. You may raise an issue with Boss Tag, which assists at its discretion.
7. Fees & Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed per the chosen interval and can be cancelled at any time from the Settings page. Per-record issuance fees are non-refundable once processing has been initiated. Marketplace platform fees apply to completed transactions as described above. All prices are in USD; see the Pricing page for the authoritative current rates, which control if they differ from any figure shown elsewhere.
8. Securities & Investment Products
Boss Tag does not currently offer tokenized securities, revenue-share pools, fractional ownership interests, lending products, or other investment products to the public. Nothing on the Platform constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, any security. Should any such product be offered in the future, it will be made available only under applicable law and to eligible participants, with separate terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Boss Tag provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boss Tag shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
11. Changes to Terms
Boss Tag reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
