Boss Tag · Partner terms · Effective 27 August 2026

What we commit to every partner.

Boss Tag issues records. It also runs a marketplace. Those two things could conflict, so the boundary is written down here, in public, before any conversation depends on it.

These are the operating commitments in plain language; the partner agreement incorporates them by reference.

The marketplace boundary

Never listed.
A record issued under a partner account is not listed on the Boss Tag marketplace and does not appear in any Boss Tag marketplace feed, grid, search result, or "recently sold" surface. Listing is an action only you can take, on a record you own, from your own account — and a partner account's records default to unlistable.
Never fee-charged.
Boss Tag takes no marketplace fee, commission, or percentage on any sale of an item whose record was issued under your partner account, whether the sale happens on your site, on a third-party platform, or in person. You pay to issue a record. That is the whole price.
Never harvested.
The record card you embed on your own site, and the verification widget, are read-only surfaces for your visitors. Boss Tag does not use them to capture your inventory, your customers, or your traffic into its own storefront, and does not build an audience from your embed views. Your embed is your page.

If a partner ever wants a record listed, that is a separate, explicit opt-in per record, from the owner’s own account, under the marketplace’s own terms. Nothing here is switched on by default.

Data portability — what survives

Your records export.
Every record you issue is exportable on request as CSV and JSON — the photographs, the stated facts, the dates, the sources cited, and the anchor reference. No lock-in, no format only Boss Tag can read.
The anchor is checkable without us.
Each issued record's fingerprint is anchored on a public blockchain. That anchor can be verified by anyone, with public tools, whether or not Boss Tag exists. It is a timestamp, not a token — there is nothing to buy, hold, or lose.
The public page states its date.
Every fact on a record's public page is labelled by who said it and when. A record does not become less true because the company that hosted it stopped.
If Boss Tag stops.
Should Boss Tag cease operating, partners receive their full export before public pages are taken down, with not less than ninety days' notice. The on-chain anchors persist regardless.

What a record is, and is not

A record is a permanent public page for one item: photographs, stated facts, dates, and — where a recognised third party such as PSA, PCGS or GIA has returned a verdict — that verdict cited by source. Boss Tag issues the record and cites the source. Boss Tag does not grade, does not appraise, and does not itself authenticate any item. A record issued under a partner account reads as that partner’s own attestation of what the item is. A recording of a signing or a moment on a record is evidence that the event occurred. Representing it as a certificate of authenticity when reselling the item is a breach of these terms.

Not offered

Boss Tag does not offer exclusivity, sales commissions or referral payments, white-label deployments, or volume price ladders. Published per-record pricing is the pricing. Where a category head-start matters to a partner, Boss Tag may offer a time-limited head-start window; it does not grant exclusivity.
