How the Process Works
Select the appropriate expert category from the Appraisals page. Submit your asset details, photos, and any documentation you have. An available expert reviews your submission and provides a professional assessment including authentication, condition report, and market valuation. The appraisal results are stored on-chain and linked to your asset's verification profile, boosting your Documentation Score and overall grade.
Pricing and Turnaround
Appraisal fees start from $50 for handbag authentication and range up to $500+ for complex IP valuations. Turnaround times vary by specialty — watch authentication and handbag authentication typically complete in 24-48 hours, while property appraisals and IP valuations take 3-10 days. All pricing is transparent and displayed before you commit. The appraisal cost often pays for itself through improved lending terms (higher LTV from a better verification grade) or increased buyer confidence on the marketplace.
Becoming an Expert
Certified appraisers can apply to join Boss Tag's expert network through the Appraisals page. Requirements include professional certification or licensing in your specialty, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, and passing Boss Tag's verification process. Experts earn income from each appraisal completed, with the platform handling client matching, payment processing, and on-chain certificate issuance.
